Electrolysis (Permanent Hair Removal)
Electrolysis is still the only permanent hair removal procedure. An experienced electrologist inserts a metal probe into the hair follicle along side the hair. A small amount of electrical current is given. The heat from the electrical current burns and destroys the root and hair germ cell. A series of treatments are required due to the fact that all hair doesn’t grow at once and if the cell is only partially destroyed there may be lighter thinner hair that appears. The procedure is repeated until gone.
